Mother of twins found in toxic Fla. truck charged
Carmen Barahona was arrested in the death of Nubia Barahona, the Miami-Dade Police Department announced nearly three weeks after the girl was found in the pickup along Interstate 95 in West Palm Beach. She was wrapped in plastic and had been doused with a toxic chemical.
Her twin brother, Victor, was in the front seat, critically burned by a chemical, authorities said, and their father was lying on the ground nearby, unresponsive. Police said the father doused the boy with a chemical so toxic it sickened rescue workers.
The father, Jorge Barahona, also apparently put gasoline on himself in what he later told police was a futile suicide attempt by setting himself on fire.
Jorge Barahona has pleaded not guilty to attempted first-degree murder in the injury of Victor, who has been released from the hospital.
Authorities haven't said how Nubia was killed.
Carmen Barahona also faces seven counts of aggravated child abuse and seven counts of child neglect. Her attorney didn't immediately respond to an e-mail, and police refused to elaborate on what led to the charges. The head of the police department was expected to talk to the media Monday, according to the agency's news release.
State child welfare officials have come under heavy criticism over missed opportunities to help the twins after an anonymous abuse allegation was called into a hotline Feb. 10 — four days before the children were found.
The caller said the twins' feet and hands were bound with duct tape and they were kept in a bathtub as punishment. Child welfare officials also believe the girl was being starved.
The officials have described a disturbing picture of a Jorge and Carmen Barahona, who adopted the twins, an 11-year-old autistic boy and a 7-year-old girl from foster care. The couple has been the focus of at least three abuse allegations in the past several years, but nothing ever came of them.

Gunmen kill 3 at bar near US consulate in Juarez
Two young men died at the Muro bar during the shooting around 1:30 a.m. and a third victim died after being taken to a hospital, said the spokesman for Chihuahua state prosecutors, Julio Castaneda. Two more men suffered wounds, he said.
The prosecutors office had not yet identified the victims, who were between 20 and 25 years old, Castaneda said.
It was the second attack on a bar in Ciudad Juarez in a week, he said. Five men were killed a week earlier at the bar La Brecha.
Fighting among rival drug cartels have turned Ciudad Juarez into a battleground in recent years. The city, which sits across from El Paso, Texas, has seen more than 6,000 people killed in drug violence the past two years.
Also on Sunday, Mexican authorities reported the arrest of a suspected high-ranking figure in the Sinaloa drug cartel.
A general in charge of a military garrison near San Luis Rio Colorado in northern Sonora state said police detained Julio Cesar Aguilar Garcia, known as "El Vaquero," or "The Cowboy."
The general says Aguilar is a suspected trafficker for the Sinaloa cartel's Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada. He is alleged to have directed air shipments of drugs in the Valley of Mexicali, near the Arizona border.
The general spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to journalists.
He said a traffic violation led to Friday's arrest of Aguilar and five others.

India successfully tests interceptor missile
The interceptor missile destroyed a medium-range missile over the Bay of Bengal after the missile had been fired from a test site in the eastern state of Orissa, ministry spokesman Sitanshu Kar said.
"It hit the target missile at an altitude of about 10 miles (16 kilometers)," Kar said.
A test of the system last March was unsuccessful, with the interceptor missile failing to take off.
Sunday's exercise tested the system's ability to track, intercept and destroy incoming missiles and was part of a series of trials, he said.
Nuclear-armed neighbors India and Pakistan usually notify each other ahead of major missile tests, in keeping with an agreement between the two nations.
It was not immediately known whether India informed Pakistan about Sunday's test.

Penny Stock Millionaire Verified Track Record-Turning $12,415 Into $1.65 Milllion In High School!
PRLog (Press Release)– Mar 05, 2011– It makes good sense for you to be skeptical about Tim's track record. I was a little skeptical myself when I first heard about him - and for good reason. After all, he's made some pretty big claims about...turning $12,415 into $1.65 million in high school and college...the returns he's gotten over the last three years: 197% in 2008... 141% in 2009... and 55% in 2010...and how his hedge fund was Barclays Ratings' #1 ranked short bias hedge fund for three years running, from 2003 to 2006.

My immediate reaction to hearing stuff like this is, "Yeah, right. Where's the proof?" But I was intrigued, so I checked Tim out and I'm happy to report that he's the real deal. And get this: He even has a Web site where you can check out and verify his entire 12-year track record. Better yet, he just released a new video with even more proof. Check out Tim's new "proof" video and his track record Web site…If you've ever dreamed of making money with micro cap stocks - but don't know who to trust - then I urge you to check out this video right now. You'll be glad you did. By the way, Tim will be opening the doors to his new micro cap investing program soon. He'll send out more information about that any day now.

In the meantime, you can register for the early notification list when you look at his new video…If you've been watching Tim Sykes' free microcap profit videos, you may be wondering who won the free memberships in his new program. Well, I just got word from Tim that he read through hundreds of great comments and questions, and the competition was intense. Last night he narrowed it down and chose the three winners, and it looks like the skeptics win:
Ephraim from Brooklyn, NY - "I have lost so much money in buying other "expert" stock pickers memberships, I am embarrassed to give the number. Your story sounds great, you expose the liars and cheats, the pitch is perfect. That is my concern, your story sounds like it can't miss."
Tim's a big believer that this is a huge insight into the financial industry as a whole - one Ephraim has learned the hard way. Many of the so-called "gurus" don't actually trade their recommendations -they're paper millionaires. That's why Tim posts his broker statements, proving his returns, and urges you to ask for complete track records from people giving you trading research.

Mourinho believes Ronaldo injury could be serious
Ronaldo scored in the 51st, 67th and 77th minutes, his fourth three-goal game this season to go along with one four-goal match. He limped off with a muscle problem after the final goal, going straight to the dressing room. Real Madrid finished a man short.
"I don't know. It seems like a serious injury. That's the negative note from the game," Mourinho said. "Especially as Ronaldo doesn't just do small things."
Mourinho soon followed up his initial words with more encouraging ones over his star player's health.
"If Cristiano has something it's something minor, it's no drama," Mourinho added.
Ronaldo said he didn't think he will play Sunday against Racing Santander but didn't believe it was serious.
The Portuguese forward, the 2008 FIFA player of the year, matched Barcelona's Lionel Messi for the league lead with 27 goals and has 37 in all competitions this season. Ronaldo had not scored since Feb. 6.
Barcelona (23-1-2) has 71 points followed by Real Madrid (20-2-4) with 64. Real Madrid is 21-0 at home this season in all competitions.
Karim Benzema scored twice, and Angel Di Maria and Marcelo had one goal each. Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini returned to Santiago Bernabeu Stadium for the first time since Mourinho replaced him after last season.
